I thought this was a joke when I first saw it, but it's not. This is Reverend Brooke Dooley aka Brock Bottom, from United Church of Christ. I think Dooly is a woman who identifies as a man when playing her drag character, Brock Bottom, but I'm not sure. Today, you need a sniffer dog for finding a persons true biological sex and real gender. That's how ridiculous things have gotten. I don't know how a Christian church can exist with a leader like Brooke Dooley. I don't think it can with honest people in charge. It takes a very twisted and bizarre view of God, life and nature for LGBTQ values and Christianity to occupy the same church, which helps to explain why she looks the way she does, and why drag shows have been a part of their worship services.
LGBTQ values and God are central to their message, but how can God be a part of that? I think they believe God's message is fluid, which means they can ignore scripture that doesn't meet the standards they set for themselves, or just interpret things in a different way. In other words, they serve themselves, and Gods message has an entirely different meaning for them.
I'm not an authority on scripture or United Church of Christ, but it doesn't take an expert to notice warning signs. ANY healthy person can look at her and know something isn't right.
