A simple and accurate definition of a "Diversity Plan" used by government and corporate America is: hire fewer traditional White Americans. What makes a company or institution more diverse is simply denying employment to Whites. Sure, they allow white women, homosexuals, lesbians and trans people into the mix, but it's primarily meant to discriminate against traditional Americans.
Diversity hiring has nothing to do with representing the population. It doesn't matter if you have a room full of 24 equally divided number of Blacks, Hispanics and Indians right off a plane from India, or a room full of 24 Blacks; both rooms are at maximum diversity, because there are no Whites. To be a diverse company or institution you don't need whites, you simply need people of color. Diversity in America is racial discrimination against traditional White Americans practiced and encouraged by those with power.
So you see, it's hard to feel bad for companies that practice this type of racial discrimination when their forced to file for bankruptcy as is the case with Spirit airlines. Not only did Spirit airlines encourage diversity in their hiring practices, they also encouraged it in their suppliers. They were so good at it, they received awards for it.
