The new and redesigned 2024 Chevrolet Trax is nice, and it will be available in the spring of 2023. It has a starting MSRP of $20,400, and the fully loaded model in this video is around $25,000. It's powered by a 1.2 liter, turbo charged, 3 cylinder engine. The engine produces 137 hp @ 5000 rpm and 162 lb-ft of torque @ 2500 rpm. It's the same size engine found in the sub compact Mitsubishi Mirage, but produces roughly 50 more horsepower. The engine is smaller than the v-twin engine used in a Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 motorcycle by roughly 500 cubic centimeters. It gets 28 mpg in the city, 32 mpg on the highway and a 30 mpg combined. I believe the transmission is a traditional 6 speed automatic transmission and not a CVT. The 2024 Trax is equipped with 4 wheel disc brakes.
