Hodaka was a motorcycle brand in the 1960's and 70's. They were an American company in business from 1964 to 1978, but sold small displacement motorcycles manufactured in Japan. The motorcycles were mostly 90cc, 100cc and 125cc in engine displacement, but towards the end they started making larger 175cc and 250cc motorcycles. Hodaka couldn't compete with the big Japanese four manufacturers: Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki, and disappeared in 1978.
