The Los Angeles Fire Department assistant chief admitting she can't carry an adult male out of a burning building, but at the same time blames the adult male for being in that situation to begin with. The second post shows an adult male, and former child movie star that burned to death in the LA fires because he was unable to move himself because of Cerebral Palsy. Does LA really need women in the Fire Department?
Former child star Rory Sykes, who was blind and had cerebral palsy, passed away in the LA fires, told his mom to leave him so she could save herself.
Horrific.
Sykes, 32, was unable to move because of his condition as the fire approached.
His mother said all the phone lines were down and they were unable to call 911.
“He said, ‘Mom, leave me.’ … I couldn't lift him. I couldn't move him. When the fire department brought me back, his cottage was burnt to the ground.”
