Supposedly, there is a chance Toyota might bring their small pickup truck to America with a base price of $12,000. I find it hard to believe Toyota can sell a small pickup truck for that price, but we shall see. The pickup truck in question is in production and called Hilux in other parts of the world, so it's not a concept vehicle, but selling a vehicle in Asia is not the same as selling in America. I do think Toyota is looking for a truck to compete with vehicles like the Ford Maverick, so maybe the Toyota Hilux is that vehicle, but look for it to cost much more than $12k. Also, if the Toyota Hilux does make it to America with a base price under $20k, look for other brands like General Motors to come out with their own small pickup trucks. I would love to this happen because the cost of a full size pickup truck in America is completely ridiculous.
