In a healthy society Mike Johnson wouldn't have time to do anything he talks about doing to protect illegal immigrants from federal law, before being dragged out of bed by his hair, if need be, and thrown into the clink.
He wants to be seen as a warrior for a virtuous cause, but there is no virtue in protecting illegal immigrants and open border policies. It's made him unable to protect his own people from crime perpetrated on his city by Venezuelan gangs. Instead of acting to protect his people he makes excuses for predators and criminals. Instead of using the resources he has at his disposal to protect his citizens, he would rather use these resources against federal law enforcement, and protect illegal aliens who shouldn't be in his city to begin with. He really is an enemy of the American people whether he knows it or not.
Mike Johnson and others like him create lawlessness and disorder by supporting illegal immigration and open borders. They need to be opposed, and if they choose to use force, then they need to be conquered and forced to obey, otherwise illegal immigration will continue to get worse. You can't have a country with leaders who openly disobey common sense laws and encourage others to do the same. The consequences of allowing people like Mike Johnson to operate freely will lead to America becoming a 3rd world quagmire.

"More than us having DPD stationed at the county line to keep them out, you would have 50,000 Denverites there. It's like the Tiananmen Square moment with the rose and the gun... You'd have every one of those Highland moms who came out for the migrants. You don’t want to mess with them."
