A 1972 advertisement for a motorcycle electronic alarm system called Cycle Gard. I don't know if this is the first year for this product, but it is the oldest electronic motorcycle alarm I have ever seen. The upgraded version even comes with a radio transmitter that communicates with a remote up to 500 feet away. I bet the battery life for the remote was terrible.
