Well, I hope this person isn't holding their breath. Back up cameras and Electronic Stability Control are required by law in new cars. The only way to get a car with the features they're talking about is to buy a used older car, then fix it up. It's possible for this person to have a good car with the features they want, but it won't be a new car, thats for sure. 

I would pay good money for a new car with as little technology in it as possible. No GPS. No cameras. No wifi data links. No automated systems. Can’t be tracked, can’t be monitored.
